Danlanal Tarempa said "The essence of this handover of positions is a change in status in the form of rank symbols which reflects the demands for change in the form of increased responsibility and quality of human resources for each individual soldier in accordance with their respective duties and positions."

"Strengthening the morality and ethics of the soldiering profession so that it is not easily swayed by things that could be detrimental to the unit and its self-image and increasing soldiering professionalism," added Danlanal Tarempa.
Marine Lieutenant Colonel (P) Ari Sukmana added that soldiers must also be able to appear as role models that their unit, family and environment can be proud of, and must also be able to actualize the meaning of the rank they hold and the position they currently hold correctly, both for themselves and environment wherever you are.
