Indonesian Navy, North Aceh,- Commander of the Indonesian Navy Base (Danlanal) Lhokseumawe Marine Colonel (P) Andi Susanto received the Monitoring and Inspection Team of the Fleet Command Inspectorate I (Wasrik It Koarmada I) led by Marine Colonel (S) Dr. Ceppi Hilmansyah, S.E., S.Aos., Mab., at the Lobby of Mako Lanal Lhokseumawe, Jalan KKA, Paloh Igeuh Village, Dewantara District, North Aceh Regency, Thursday (18/01/2024).
In his speech when opening the Wasrik It Koarmada I activities, Lanal Lhokseumawe Commander Andi welcomed and thanked the Wasrik It Koarmada I Team, which is a source of pride and honor for Lanal Lhokseumawe who is always ready to receive visits for monitoring and inspection purposes.
"Wasrik's visit is a matter of pride for Soldier Lanal Lhokseumawe because he is increasingly challenged to work professionally, because if he doesn't feel proud then soldiers will never be professional," said Danlanal Lhokseumawe.
"As we all know, monitoring and inspection activities within the Indonesian Navy are part of the control function and are an important stage in efforts to support the success of the Indonesian Navy development program," he said.
Meanwhile, remarks from Marine Colonel (S) Dr. Ceppi Hilmansyah said that their presence at Lanal Lhokseumaee was as a problem sharing partner and also as a consultation function and also aimed to review the effectiveness of the work programs running in each work unit staff at Lanal Lhokseumawe and also the Operations and Training Development (Binopslat) programs. which was held at Lanal Lhokseumawe.
As the IT Koarmada I Performance Audit Team in the Lantamal I work area, Marine Colonel (S) Dr. Ceppi and his entourage also expressed their gratitude for their extraordinary speech that the Koarmada I Inspectorate was an extension of the task force in monitoring the performance of work units in the ranks of Koarmada I.
The wasrik activity at Lanal Lhokseumawe is a preventive measure in order to anticipate the possibility of inefficient performance. The function of wasrik in an advanced and modern organization is a process and mechanism that must be implemented.
Because the Wasrik function is an integral part of a management system, or more specifically it can be said that the Wasrik function has a very important and determining role in the continuity and success of an organization.
So without implementing an effective wasrik mechanism, there is a tendency for irregularities to occur which will be difficult to avoid and difficult to detect early, especially in efforts to be time efficient.
That in addition to external audits, we now add productive audits to ensure that activities comply with compliance requirements, are effective, efficient, economical, then our consultation will provide consultation on what needs guidance and should not be raised as findings or errors, especially activities that have potential. will later be checked by an external audit.
According to the rules, the results of the Wasrik Team will be reported to the Commander of Koarmada I, that Lanal or Lantamal who have done things according to the rules have carried out various innovations that are able to raise the good name of the Indonesian Navy/Lanal in the work area, it will be read in front of Commander of Fleet Command I.
