Hundreds of Participants Take Scout Orientation Course to Shape Character for the Next Golden Generation of 2045

Sukabumi _ Regent H Marwan Hamami opened a short orientation course for front group supervisory councils and village/subdistrict supervisory councils in the Palabuhanratu District Area, at the Joint Secretariat Building for Religious Institutions in Palabuhanratu District, Wednesday, January 10 2024.

The scout orientation course was attended by hundreds of participants from educational institutions at all levels as well as village heads and village heads.

The Regent and Chair of the Sukabumi Regency Mabicab, H Marwan Hamami, said that the scout movement is one of the organizations that is clearly recognized in Law Number 12 of 2010 concerning the scout movement. This mandate implies that scouting is a place for someone's character education.

“This scout was formed by the government, so like it or not, it must be enforced as well as possible. Front group, village/sub-district supervisors are key figures who play an important role in developing scouting activities at each school base and even in the community.

He emphasized that the branch quarters and front groups as administrators of the scout movement will continue to strengthen and sharpen synergy in building and nurturing the younger generation in welcoming the realization of the golden generation of 2045.

"Today's seniors are required to become managers in the environment, so this short orientation course will add further insight into character formation to prepare the next golden generation of 2045," he explained.

The Regent hopes that this short orientation course can motivate other regions, so that the character formation of the younger generation can be carried out evenly in Sukabumi Regency.

Chairman of the Palabuhanratu Branch Supervisory Council, Ali Iskandar, added that this short orientation course aims to provide understanding and additional motivation about the importance of scouting as character formation.

"God willing, Palabuhanratu will continue to help implement the regional vision and mission. "So, through this movement, it is hoped that people's hopes can be realized," he said in short.
